1. Activate your Corporate Career Site
A. After logging into your employer account, you are directed to your Recruiting Desktop. In the Corporate Career Site box at the top of the screen, you will see the URL we have provided for your corporate career site (i.e. http://012345.mycareerboard.com). To activate your Corporate Career Site, click the activate now link.

B. Once you have activated your site, the link in the Corporate Career Site box at the top of the screen will be enabled, and you can click it to view your default Corporate Career Site.

C. You can use the URL we provided for your Corporate Career Site (i.e. http://012345.mycareerboard.com) by linking it to an existing company website for use as a "Careers" section, or include it in email communications to prospective candidates. Either way, candidates will be able to search and apply to jobs you post for free to your Corporate Career Site.

D. To customize your site, scroll to the bottom of your Recruiting Desktop, and use the options in the Corporate Career Site box in the lower right corner. The options are explained below:
2. Set General Information
A. Title - You can change the title of your Corporate Career Site. The title will be displayed in the title bar of your web page, as well as in the bar that separates the body of your site from the bottom framework. The title of your Corporate Career Site defaults to your company name, followed by "Career Section" (i.e. XYZ Company Career Section).

B. Company name, address, phone number and fax number - Any information you choose to include in these areas will appear at the foot of each page of your Corporate Career Site. This information will not be displayed if you choose to add custom Bottom Framework (Reference Section 5B) to your Corporate Career Site.

C. Home page - Enter the URL of your existing company website, including the http://. If you choose to display a link to your Home Page (Reference Section 6A-i), this is the address that it will link to.

D. Contact Us Email - If you choose to have a "Contact Us" link displayed on your website (Reference Section 6A-iv), all inquiries from your Corporate Career Site will be sent to the email address you designate in this space. Your site visitors will not see this email address on the "Contact Us" form.

E. Company Overview - Text you enter in this space will appear between the header and footer of the Home Page of your Corporate Career Site. Text can be formatted with HTML.
3. Set Color Schemes
A. Form Title - Change the color of the titles of forms that are part of your Corporate Career Site (including "Contact Us" form and "Quick Resume Form").

B. Form Caption - Change the color of the captions in forms that are part of your Corporate Career Site (including "Contact Us" form and "Quick Resume Form").

C. Search Background - Results from job searches performed by job seekers on your Corporate Career Site are separated for easy viewing by alternating background colors between your main Background Color (Reference 3F) and your Search Background color.

D. Main Site Color - Change the color of the outside set of bars separating your site's header and footer from the body of the page. These bars will not be displayed if you enter custom Top Framework or Bottom Framework (Reference Sections 5A and 5B).

E. Secondary Color - Change the color of the inside set of bars separating your site's header and footer from the body of the page. The top bar is where your links and the date are located. The bottom bar contains address, phone and fax information (Reference Section 2B), and the title of your Corporate Career Site (Reference Section 2A), and will not be displayed if you enter custom Bottom Framework (Reference Section 5B).

F. Background Color - Change the color of your site's background.
4. Set Corporate Logo - Upload your company's logo to be displayed in the header of your Corporate Career Site. Please note that if you enter any custom Top Framework (Reference Section 5A), that information will be displayed in the header instead of your logo.
5. Set Corporate Headers
A. Top Framework - Enter any text or custom framework you would like to appear as the header of your site. You can paste custom HTML code into this space. Anything entered in this area will replace your corporate logo, if you have one uploaded (Reference Section 4).

B. Bottom Framework - Enter any text or custom framework you would like to appear as the header of your site. You can paste custom HTML code into this space. Anything entered in this area will replace your address, phone number, fax number, and title listed at the bottom of your page, if you have entered it (Reference Section 2B).

6. Set Career Site Links
A. Default Links - These links are displayed in the bar separating your site’s header from the body of the page. You can choose whether or not you want these links to be displayed on your Corporate Career Site.
i. Show Home Link - Enable a link to your existing corporate website so candidates can easily link back to your home page (Reference Section 2C).

ii. Show View All Jobs - This link directs candidates to a listing of all active jobs posted to your Corporate Career Site.

iii. Show Contact Us - Candidates can submit questions or comments to a contact at your organization (Reference Section 2D).

B. Custom Links - Add up to two additional links. Links must be formatted in HTML.
7. Set Career Site Job Search Options
A. Show Job Search Bar - This will add a job search function to the main page of your Corporate Career Center. If you select this, default search options will include State and Categories.

B. Show State - If you enable the "Show Job Search Bar" function (Reference Section 7A), this will let candidates search jobs by state.

C. Show Categories - If you enable the "Show Job Search Bar" function (Reference Section 7A), this will let candidates search jobs by industry category. The drop down box will only include categories in which you currently have active job postings.
8. View Career Site - View your Corporate Career Site. As you customize your site, use this link or refresh the pages of the site to instantly view changes.
